I grew up in Europe, picked up an interest for photography as a child. After graduating from high school I traveled extensively around the world photographing people, landscapes and documentary work.
I moved to the USA in the late 80's, pursuing a career in Photography. Got my Bachelor of Fine Art and Master of Science in photography from Brooks Institute of Photography in Santa Barbara, CA.
My focus has always been on people, young or old, humans are as diverse as a finger print, and therefore allows for a enormous amount of expression and qualities to be captured.
Throughout my career I have had the honor and pleasure to photograph celebrities such as Bill Gates, Yolanda Adams and many others. My clients base has ranged from the federal government to fashion magazines.
My extensive education in the field of imaging provides my clients with high quality work, both from a creative and a technical perspective.
The images you see on this site has been captured as is, and created by me. Even tough I have extensive skills and find Photoshop to be a unique and necessary tool in my work, I DO NOT consider it photography and my images are captured as is with minimal editing in photoshop.

Photography is a gift that is given to a few, clicking the shutter is nothing, composing the image, seeing the moment and making it work is the true gift of life.

Teaching assistant at Brooks Institute of Photography for 2 years, specializing in multi media productions for large events

Multi media director for United Way of the National Capitol Area and the Combined Federal campaign, producing large events, marketing materials, video's, commercials and photography

Head photographer for Herff Jones / Victor O'Neill studios, responsible for the transition from film to digital photography, along with quality enhancement of their staff photographers.

Currently freelancing and operating my own Studio here in the Washington, DC area. Doing still photography, video production and webdesign.
